Logo Design
The name of my fictitious company I created is Frappé Barre, and it is a café type of shop for dancers. It has a bar where frappe drinks are sold as energy drinks for the dancers. The name of the company is a play on words because a frappe is both a type of frozen drink and also a step done in ballet. The barre part of the name is also a play on words because it is pronounced like bar but this spelling is the way it is spelled in dance, meaning the thing in which dancers use for balance while doing exercises. The mission of the company is to create a place for dancers to hang out and grab a frappe drink that will give them energy before dancing. I used the color purple for my logo because it relates to imagination, which is important for dancers to have. Because it is a combination of red and blue, it contains the energy and strength of red and the spirituality and integrity of blue. It also contains a little bit of pink, which is a very feminine color and is also the color that is associated with ballet. The main tool I used in this project was the paintbrush tool. I found a picture of the ballerina used in the logo and I used the paintbrush tool to trace over it. Once I moved the anchor points on the outline, I dragged it over to a new template. I also used the paintbrush tool to draw a line and the type on a path words on the lines.

Once I did this, I used the fill and stroke options to change the color of the outline of the logo and the fill color. One difficulty I had while doing this project was coming up with a creative design. One success I had with this project was using the right colors to make the logo appealing to dancers.
